I moved from Montana to Charlotte, NC in search of a Home that would work as a horse property. It seemed that there were no agents that specialized in selling homes with land to accommodate my lifestyle. I then decided to activate my Real Estate License to become a specialist in that area.

Typically new agents have a hard enough time being recognized by the public to engage them to buy and sell property. As a new agent, my superiors at my Brokerage firm tried to discourage me from being a specialist selling homes with land and equestrian properties. The pool of buyers and properties are dramatically less and it would difficult to get appraisals on these unique properties and make a living.

However, I had done my research and with my past experience in nationally teaching sales training by “sellng the difference” I knew it would successfully work out. After only 6 months as a new agent for Coldwell Banker, I became a multimillion dollar sales agent and achieved the regional award of Top New Sales Associate, outselling many of the agents regionally that were already working the full year.

During the recession in 2008, many firms closed offices and many agents dropped out of the market.Of those who stayed busy many decided to work out of homes to save money. Looking back, as crazy as it now seems, I decided to open my own firm. With the continued sales success and multiple award recognitions, I decided to open my own Real Estate Firm, Prestige Properties of the Carolinas, located 20 miles from Downtown Charlotte. And here we are still going strong!
In pursuit of wanting to achieve more and gain more expertise in my field, I decided to become a member of the Realtor Land Institute, which enabled me to pursue an accreditation towards becoming a specialist in land sales, know as an ALC, Accredited Land Consultant.

In addition to completing my studies with RLI and providing proof that I could sell over 5 million dollars of just land sales in a short period of time, I was then eligible to achieve that prestigious title as an ALC. In addition my experience has given me the ability to price properties accurately and recently have become certified as a Strategic Pricing Specialist.

I work in a 50 mile radius of Charlotte, fitting clients with the lifestyle homes for their family needs and their personal lifestyle passions. I am licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina and in Florida.

I sell Country Homes, Estates and Land and Specialize in Properties for Equine Endeavors. In doing so, I have a broad knowledge of the surrounding Charlotte market in land sales and property values.
